That is the hardest part! Once you get going, it gets easier! This is a great place for support and motivation though.

Thats right, Katie. Get it together, Girl. You are so worth it. Take your time and do it right. Choice healthy foods and find an exercise that you like, drink lots of wat and will stick with.

The more you move and do things which require energy... the more energy you will have, especially if you're eating a good balanced diet as well. Get up and start doing something. Go for a walk for an hour, go swimming, dance.... just stop thiking about it and just do it :)

Yes...... That happened to me too! I was so tired ALL the time, and my doctor said that I had such low iron levels, he was wondering how I was functioning at all!

I had to take the supplements 3x a day just to get back up to normal levels, then 2x, then 1, and he gave me a list of iron filled foods. This was back in 2005. I was on a dance team then, so I basically lived off of soda and gatorade.... which wasn't good. But I had no energy and I needed it because I was dancing for hours EVERY DAY.

You might want to go to the doctors and get some blood work done, just in case....

I had the same problem, thought if I moved more it would make me less tired. I mentioned it during my physical to my doctor, who checked my B12 levels, and they were ridiculously low. Taking a B12 supplement every day and getting a shot to get my B12 up every four weeks for three months seems to be working. So don't think it's just because you're "lazy" ... if you continue to feel that way, get to a doctor and have all your bloodwork run. It could be an iron deficiency, B12, or even a thyroid problem.

If you think you're getting enough sleep and eating well each day (including enough fuel) and hydrating then it's worth contacting your Dr. for a general blood panel (It's amazing how important general minerals and vitamins are important to your energy level.)

If you're not getting enough sleep and fuel and water- focus on that. These are the building blocks of life.

PS- Sounds like a lot of learned the hard way that a daily multi-vitamin isn't always enough.

Ditto TinaBean above, exactly what I was going to say.

Start moving, and its amazing how the energy comes back, as long as everything else is ok.

Plus, TRY to change the mind first.... this is a new Day! (or hour) and move a bit. always thinking 'this sucks' makes it hard, your body goes where your mind is. Speaking from experience and something I am battling in my own head.

Feel free to add me if you'd like

You are Worth making a change for.

You can do it. Just take things one day at a time. Make little goals for yourself every day. Focus on those instead of the big picture and it will help motivate you!
