So I was at the gym last night. I was on the eliptical for 65 minutes, I inputted my weight and was on level 3, at the end of the workout the machine had me burn 713, on MFP they had 862 (I used the 713). I am trying to find a HRM/Calorie Counter but until them I am trying to figure out the best way to calculate the calories. I use this website (http://simplefit.net/static_pages/Calories-Burned) for Zumba, but they do not have one for the eliptical.
If the machines are wrong, I just want to know how wrong they are.

Machines are going to be as accurate as anything else is. Basic machines like bikes and treadmills will likely be more accurate than website and HRMs.0
