What should I eat pre-workout?

Alright so I am trying to figure out some snack options before working out. I need to have enough energy to get me through 20 mins of cardio and then 60 mins of weight training. Any suggestions?

Before I run my 5k each day I eat half a banana and an ounce of cashews0

Do you have a problem with energy levels, or are you just assuming you will?
Something like a payday sounds about perfect for what you are trying to do.0 -
My training program is still relatively new. I just need some help figuring out good pre-workout snacks. I usually eat a banana with 1 tbsp of peanut butter which is fine if i'm only doing some cardio, but I feel very famished at the end of my 60 min weight training.0

I should also note that I only have supper after my workouts.0

try eating some carbs, carbs give you the most energy. Try whole grain toast with peanut butter.0
