Calming Friends

I have truly incredible friends but they are on my case now and I can't seem to calm them down. I have lost about 110 pounds since July. Obviously that loss has been a result of a change of eating habits and working out. They don't see me workout because let's face it that is just not a pretty sight and I am still way heavier and more out of shape than they have ever dreamed of being. They are convinced that my weight loss is because I am not eating or starving myself, which isn't true at all. If I go out to eat with them I usually order a veggie only salad which results in them getting on my case and saying I'm embarrassing to go out to eat with. Last night I wasn't in the mood to deal with them being on my case and didn't want to be an embarrassment so I refused to go out to eat. That was apparently a worse idea than just going along with them. Now they are super concerned and I don't know what else I can say or do to calm them down. Any suggestions?
