I really hate the chest strap things that come with most heart rate monitors and wondered if anyone thought the Bodybugg was or was not worth the $100+ price tag.

I'd go for the Bodymedia Git as it links with MFP. If you do a search you'll find loads of posts on it. I personally love it.0

I have had it for 2-3 weeks now and I love it...
You have to not mind wearing it all day, and not be embarrassed to tell people what it is when they see it under your clothes.
I love the data it provides.0 -
After researching it & similar products my opinion is -- definitely not.
Have you even tried wearing the chest strap? I honestly don't feel mine at all.0 -

HRM are just for cardio exercise. BMF is for all day wear.0 -
Then there is the ongoing monthly fee to access the data. Yeah, like forever or your $250 Bodybugg is useless.
I loved it when I had it.0
