I am 5'9 , although taller than most girls but shorter than most american guys....is it possible to increase my height at this age?
I know growth stops after 18 but i read somewhere that stretching exercise increases height.....is it true?
I just want to grow 1-2 inches taller....

Well, the long bones responsible for the increase in your height have three parts-epiphysis, metaphysis n diaphysis(shaft). In our growing years the metaphysics isn't calcified, n continues to grow increasing the length of the bone. However as we cross our growing age the metaphysis gets ossified and the epiphysis(tip of the bone) and d diaphysis (shaft) fuse together and the bone doesn't grow any further in length.
Now to answer your question, I guess 24 is well over the growing age and hence I do not see much of a chance there. However I know there are many more knowledgeable people on this site who might guide you better, this is only my opinion.0 -
I'm 5"4', and I can tell you with certainty that stretching exercises will not increase height lol Not that I've tried actually, but height has to do with the length of your skeletal structure, and once you've matured your bones actually fuse at their final length.
No stretching can change that.0
