Pre workouts?

I'm wondering if anyone who uses these can give me some information on them as my other half has decided he wants to purchase DS Craze pre workout and i'm worried about the contents of it.
I have no idea what shouldn't be ingested and what should and i've done my best to look up the ingredients and have read some side effects on certain ingredients which worries me as he won't even consider the possibility of it harming him in anyway.
So questions..
1. Has anyone tried this particular one?
2. Have you had any side effects?
3. Should i try convince him not to take it even more?
4. Should i be worried?
Thankyou for all your help

I've ever heard of that one.
I have taken Jack3d. NO Xplode, Cellucor, and 1MR. All of which made me feel fantastic and worked wonderfully.
Why won't you let the man do what he wants to do? :O0 -
I use DS Craze and Cardio Igniter (not at the same time or the same day)
I mix the craze with 12 oz of water and only 1/2 scoop. I am sensitive to caffeine. I have NO side effects. This is NOT recommended for cardio workouts, its for weight training due to increasing heart rate. I love this stuff. It really makes me focus on the workouts, the workouts fly by and I can lift longer/harder than without it. For me, it severely decreases my appetite.Drink plenty of water. It does make you pretty thirsty. I would have him start out with 1/2 scoop just to see how his body tolerates it before moving on to the full scoop. I have the grape. The taste is just OK. Not gross. But im not a huge grape fan.0 -
Have used a number of preworkout supplements, nothing harmful, unless you exceed the recommended dosage, which is basically looking at the caffeine intake. So, generally, it is not recommended to consume more than 200mg per serving.
However, I would suggest that he makes his own preworkout. Way cheaper and only clinically proven dosages can be added.0 -
Unless he has had heart conditions or doesn't drink water, he should be fine. Make sure to follow the warning labels. I've taken pre-workouts for about 6years, and I've had a doctor tell me they're not so good for your kidneys. But thats it0

If you have no idea what should or shouldn't be ingested (as you said), on what grounds are you worried about the contents of it?0 -

So you don't trust him to be responsible about what he consumes, nor do you trust him to be responsible about where he buys? Yikes...0 -
DS Craze is one of the most tame options. Doesn't have DMAA (that's the controversial ingredient... that's been found in people who allegedly died from supplements.)
You should only buy supplements from their authorized resellers.0 -
I have been using DS Craze for more than a year and I really like it. The biggest benefit of it for me is that only 1 scoop gets the job done for me, where as with Jack3D (the old formula) I was pretty much always using 3 scoops, and I felt that I had built up a tolerance to it. With craze I still feel focused and have more strength/energy and only need one scoop.
Biggest thing that he should worry about is becoming too dependent on it. I really only take Craze probably 50% of the time. If I'm feeling good and already have a good amount of energy I will skip the pre-workout supplements. But if my *kitten* is dragging, then I'm reaching for the Craze.
He shouldn't be using ANY pre-workout supplement for EVERY workout, as developing a dependency on it will be bad for him in the long run on more ways than one.
Just my 2 cents!
EDIT: I always get mine from Amazon.com0 -

Why are you making it something it isn't?
Think what you like, i'm only looking out for him i told him i'd be looking up ingredients etc he had no objections. We have a son together therefore i do not want anything happening to him.0 -
