I'm currently doing Insanity and ate a little more than planned today. So after I do my workout should I eat a post workout meal/protein shake and go over my calories by a few hundred or skip the post workout meal all together?

            I would eat.
A few hundred calories on one occasion would not derail progress, of course this is assuming that you already have included your exercise calories in your calorie count for the day.0

i agree. eat good food with lots of protein after a workout. your muscles need it to rebuild.0
