Not seeing results..

Ok so I started my diet (last month) by cutting down what I ate by half. I kept going to see if I would lose any weight. Apparently, I lost 5 pounds. I started at 195-ish and now I weigh 188. Last week I started eating healthy, between 1100-1200 calories and exercising 3-5 times a week. When I started last week I weighted 190 and yesterday was my weekly weigh-in and I was at 188 in the morning. I did again during the night, and I was at 189.4.. I don't get it.. Is it too soon to see results? Or is something wrong with my diary?
P.S I know it takes time to lose weight. I just want to make sure I'm on the right track and if I should add more exercise.

Weighing more than once a day = bad
Your weight will fluctuate a couple pounds throughout the day. From what you said in your post, I think you should probably weigh in once a week or less(hide the scale and only use it on the day you weigh in) and keep in mind you want to weigh at the same time of day. And above all NEVER weigh twice in the same day.
edit: Don't be surprised if your weight goes up around TOM either, that it is just water and will come back off after a few days.0 -
1. 1100 calories is almost certainly too low for you. Make sure you're logging your exercise and eating back the calories you earn.
2. Yes it's too early to see results. If you've just started exercising your body may be holding onto water weight to help the muscles heal. give it some time to work.
3. Your weight fluctuates throughout the day. You'll way more in the evening because your body is carrying the food, water, and waste it's built up throughout the day. If those kinds of fluctuations are demoralizing you might want to consider only weighing once a week first thing in the morning.0 -
Taking a look at your food log, you need to eat more. Try to hit MFP numbers for 2 weeks and come back at us with an update.
Edit : And eat those calories back on your training days.0 -
I don't know for sure the cause of you not seeing results. A week really isn't much time. However, I did notice that you are not eating back your exercise calories, which can lead to more of a problem down the road and possibly a longer period of not seeing results. On days you exercise, your net calories goes down as low as in the 600s. At the very least, you should eat back those calories your burned from working out.0

You can't weight yourself twice a day and expect to see actual pounds off... It takes 3500 caloriea to lose a pound. Think that it didnt take a day to put on 5 pounds, so losing 5 pounds wont take a day either. You weight varies with water fluctuation, food you mightstill have in your stomach. You can weight yourself after a big cardio workout , see a pound less but its only water you sweated just the same way you could way yourself and weight a pound more after drinking a liter of water! Weight yourself once a week same day, in the morning.0

Piggy backing everyone else. It's only been a week, you may not be eating enough, and more than anything, give it time. The weight will come off. Just stay focused and discliplined.0
