My name is Debbie and I finally admitted that I need to lose some weight. I have obviously known that I am overweight but was able to ignore it cause I ignored the scale. Well, then I had to see the Dr about a earache and heartburn and that nurse said my weight outloud so I could not ignore it anymore. I don't have a real specific weight I want to get to, I just want to loose my spare tire for the most part.
I want to say that the exercise will be the easy part (using my ipod nano to track the steps, gives me a goal) but its not always easy for me to get up and walk. I think I just need to plan on walking, thinking about it more makes it easier for me to get out and do. Right now I am walking my kids to the bus stop then around the neighborhood, same thing for when the get off the bus. Its just over a mile for both. I have mapped a walk that will be a mile total and my goal is to start doing that a few times a week.
I do know I need to slow down on the snacking and I have slowed down on my Coca Cola. I do realize that moderation is the key, I am not gonna outright say I am not gonna have this or that cause that will make me want it more.

Hi Deb! Excercise like walking a good start more you do the better you'll feel I've been really working on getting this weight thing under control. I love carbonated beverages but switched to carbonated water zero calories you can add alittle fruit juice or lemon what ever you can think of taste great on the weekend if you like a bit more try carbonated water with splash of Skinny Girl0

And here I am again. I fell off the weight loss wagon for a few. Don't think I gained but I know I did not lose any during that time. I am trying harder to track my food and since its still coldish outside I am walking a mile on the treadmill. Trying to add some hills to it with a 4% grade too. Adding more water to my diet too.
I am still drinking Coke but down to one can a day. I have been known to drink it without thought so the one can a day is a huge thing for me to do.0
