We walk around 6 miles every morning. My calories burned says around 500 does this seem right. We do a good pace with alot of hills on our walk.The mileage is usually 6.5. I always do weight training during the day to. Sometimes i feel that the walk is not enough exercise as i love to run and do the incline on the treadmill and feel this is more of a workout for me as i sweat more. What does everyone think

    If you really want to figure out how much you are burning, get a heart rate monitor. It may be more or less than what the MPF calculator estimates because your body might be used to the route and be burning calories more efficiently

    i have a watch that measures the distance, steps and calories. I really dont trust the calories but have measured it with another device for mileage and it has been dead on
