Hey -
Today I had dental surgery and I had a few teeth removed, all in the back. Before I went for my appointment I was 166, took a nap and after I woke up, I weighed myself (in the evening mind you) and it was 164.6. I'm not complaning - this is great! However, is this normal? Also, I haven't any food yet.. I'm on a liquid diet for a few days and my husband is currently making me a milkshake. First thing I will have eaten.
Thanks!

Yes this has happened to me it's normal. Weight can fluctuate like that daily.0

probably just fluctuation. also, when your body is under stress (physical/emotional/mental) it often does funny things. it might just be that you had surgery and your body is reacting.
i wouldn't sweat it too much. just rest and feel well soon!0 -

THanks.. that would make sense. For 2 weeks my body was at a plateau and I was weight 168. Now, in just a couple days I am at 164.2. Which of course is amazing. All the weight that needed to come, maybe the stress helped it!0 -
could be the shock of it! hahaha well, whatever the case, i am glad that you are pleased
when you're feeling well though make sure you are eating and exercising and you will continue to be successful!

Those were some heavy teeth!
That was my first thought.0 -
Those were some heavy teeth!
So, maybe I can contribute those to my weight gain then.0 -
It's a psychological boost to see the scale go down, but unfortunately, you are likely just dehydrated from not eating/drinking. Hope you recover quickly and all goes well for you!0

Your weight can fluctuate up to 5 lbs in a day which is why you should pick a day, time, place and clothing option to do your weigh ins.0
