Lower abdominal pain while jogging?

Like low low abdominal pain. Like really bad cramps, but you're not on your period. Does this happen to anyone else?

During my first gyno appointment back in August I mentioned that I get this pain when I run when I reach about the mile mark. Her response was maybe my uterus was too large and was... I don't remember her exact words... bouncing, or something, while I'm running, or maybe it's hormones (what?) so she suggested I get on the pill again even though I explained to her that I still had those pains even when I was taking the pill. She didn't even do a sonogram or check anything out. She also said that maybe I shouldn't run and that I should just use the elliptical or something instead. :noway:

I was supposed to check to see if my insurance would cover the pill (I'm not sure why they couldn't check real quick, but i'm not too familiar with how doctors offices work), get the pill, and come back in THREE months for a check up. Long story short, things get super busy, I ended up not getting on the pill, I got a call that the gyno had double booked anyway and I never made a new appointment. I hadn't ran during that time anyway. I didn't do much of anything - I sunk into one of my lows (I have trouble with depression and anxiety) due to stress and working all the time.

I started exercising again in March and I'm a little over a month into working out regularly again. At the start I couldn't jog for more than about 1-2 minutes at a time. I'm improving and Wednesday I actually jogged for 10 minutes, no pain except for my calves being angry with me, but after my workout I noticed spotting. I -never- spot. This had me worried as I thought it might be implantation bleeding or something. I have an appointment scheduled for today at 10:30am. When I was running earlier I got those familiar pains again, though not as extreme as they used to be, no spotting this time either. I looked on the mfp boards and found that there's many other women who spot when working out hard, so that relieved me, but I was wondering if anyone else gets those painful cramps and if so do you know why?

Never heard of that, but hope you get some answers! Your tummy can feel odd at the beginning of pregnancy, and you mentioned implantation spotting. Is there a possibility you're pg?

Agreed, is it possible that you could be pregnant?
If your doctor ignores you or doesn't at least entertain the idea that something may be wrong please seek a second opinion. This doesn't sound normal to me or like something you should just have to put up with. There has to be a medical cause for it.

Could you be constipated and not realize it?

Went for my gyno appointment today. Got bloodwork and she did an exam but didn't find anything out of the ordinary. She felt my ovaries and said they at least feel normal. She mentioned a number of things that could've caused the spotting such as maybe having polyps or cysts, though if it was a cyst that burst I'd probably be experiencing more pain. She also mentioned possible hormonal changes and yes, possible pregnancy. I'm supposed to get my results either today or on Monday, depending on how soon the lab runs the tests.
As for mentioning the lower abdominal pain during exercise (this issue has existed for years, I first noticed in about 10th grade but never went to the doctors about it until this past year) she said after I get on a hormonal contraceptive to check back in like originally planned. As long as tests come back negative I will be getting Nexplanon.
rrsuthy, maybe, but I tend to be pretty regular.. so i'm not sure.

I used to have that problem because I used to breath from my chest now I breath from my stomach and it resolved the problem

your uterine muscles could be loose
not sure how to explain it uggg
there are two muscle that hold it in place when you are running if they are stretching the uterus moves around and can actually flip ( its painful
Next time you get that pain get down on hands and knees and drop shoulders and head lower than you hips and sway them it should correct it self .
    worth a try

Oh my goodness, that sounds horrifying.
I wonder if there'd be a way to tighten those muscles... I somewhat do what you suggested except for the sway, I usually get in the fetal position if i'm in a place that would not look funny for me to do it.

Just an update since I finally got my lab results back: I'm not pregnant!
I did find out I have hypothyroidism though.
