Belly Fat - Oh, how I hate it!

I am getting awfully frustrated about losing the belly fat. My daughter is pregnant and recently I shopped for maternity clothes. The sales associate was extremely friendly and helpful and I know she meant well when she suggested a dress because I would look beautiful in it. She was a little embarrassed when I told her I was NOT expecting. Things like that happen a lot lately. I actually started parking in the expecting mothers parking spots at the grocery stores. Figured I gotta get something positive out of this situation!

Please feel free to vent if you have similarly frustrating stories and please share any tips you might have.

Also, I am currently doing the 30-day squat challenge and am noticing some results. Maybe we should start a 30-day crunch & situp challenge? Who's game?

You are too funny! It's happened to me in the past. Uggh

How do your legs feel doing the squat challenge? They must be so sore?

Actually, I'm trying to use my glutes more than my legs. I'm trying to feel the burn in the buns, lol!

Exactly as it should be when squatting! Stick with it the belly fat will reduce as you lose weight. Having said that mine has changed shape alot since I started lifting, I also do a lot of planks, roll outs, plate twists etc I now have lines though I still have a lot of belly fat to lose.

  • I agree you should definitely start a 30 day crunch/sit ups challenge, add side crunches as well to work those obliques, I would be game, why don't you start it? my stomach area is my problem area as well, ugghh, I see a tummy tuck in my future when I've lost all the weight.

lets start tomorrow and use the same schedule as we do for the squats? Maybe we can skip the tummy tuck ;)

:flowerforyou: You've gotten good advice. Maybe you should leave the parking spots for those that need it though. You must remember how uncomfortable walking is by 8-9 months pregnant.
