what is your dress code at work?

I'm a writer. I don't get dressed.
Business professional. Except for my telecommute day, when I wear whatever I slept in the night before.0 -
I work in Downtown Honolulu, and men are required to be shirtless, wearing board shorts (European Speedo guys are deported), women bikini with g-string bottoms. :laugh:0
-
Officially it's jeans, appropriate-for-work shirts (no t-shirts, no sleeveless, etc), and shoes that aren't sneakers or sandals. Unofficially, it's "Don't be naked." The HR lady wears tank tops, cutoff shorts, and glittery flip-flops all the time.0

Nursing scrubs and shoes. Fridays and holidays...jeans and t-shirts...woohoo!!!:bigsmile:0
-
Mine is whatever I want. I work for a medical software company. Office envirnment where there are no clients to "see" us (all support is remote). So I can wear shorts and a tshirt if I want. The MOST relaxed dress code I have ever had.0

"Don't be naked" was EXACTLY what I was trying to think of when I thought of the dress code here bwahahahha! Love.0 -
Depends on location, white collar vs blue collar. I am at Corporate so slacks, oxford shirt at a minimum. Though we get casual Friday where we can wear jeans and a tshirt.0

I LOVE MY DRESS CODE!
I'm an accountant for a construction company so everything gets dirty and dusty very quick.
I just wear yoga pants and a hoodie with a black puffy vest.
The other receptionist wear jeans and company shirt.
Very chill!0 -
Business casual with jeans on Fridays. We're government funded so we can use company money to pay for things like BBQs and Birthday cakes so we have set days during that month that are paid "jean days" where we pay $2 a day and get to be casual on those days. Then we use that money for the fun stuff!0

Generally jeans and t-shirt and chucks in the office. Good boots when I travel.
I work with the military and they are in their camouflage uniform. It's dusty and dirty over here. The only time I put a button up shirt or polo on is when brass comes to visit or I've got a presentation to give, in which case I've been known to also throw on a sport coat. I'm not known for my fashion sense.0 -
Business casual.
I often wear dress pants and a nice top or a nice dress.0 -
Whatever I am in the mood to wear! Today it's yoga pants and sneakers!0

Casual clothes at my main workplace.
My second job as a waitress at a steakhouse: Jeans and a black t-shirt that's provided by the steakhouse.0 -
Blue pants, Blue shirt.
Mechanics blues with my name on one side, company on the other.
But that doesn't truly sum up this uniform.
The pants are butt ugly, "susan fit" according to Cintas.
Now I'm not sure who susan is, but I know one thing they should not have used her to model pants for the rest of the women in the work world after her. These pants no matter how many times I have exchanged them all seem to have a waist band that seems to be supposed to fit just under my bra band. They are 5 inches too short and the butt area is square shaped.
So based on this I have determined that Susan fit means let's just make you as homeless looking as we can.
The shirt is no better, It's shoulder seams hit my mid bicep area, the buttons and holes while buttoned right all seem off aligned.
The arm holes are either not big enough or way too big. so some days I have skin to skin contact with my ribs and arms, other days my armpit is screaming in agony for 8 hours straight.
I hate these uniforms. I hate them.0 -
We (my hubby and I) work for his dad, so its totally casual. I wear whatever is clean and comfortable. If I know that we will be having customers on the lot for sure that day, I try to wear nicer clothing, like a nice blouse with my "good" jeans instead of a tshirt and stained jeans. But I actually do not have business casual clothes anymore. I'm not sure I could put together a business casual look if I had to.0

Well I'm a stripper so' my clothes come off on the reg0

I think we need to come see you at work for proof.0 -
We are allowed to dress casual at my first job but must dress business casual on the first of the month and on Fridays. I have to dress business casual at my second job (can wear khakis and black jeans). Both are office jobs.0

Business casual. Some days I lean more toward business, other days more toward casual, depending on my mood. Mostly it tends to be on the dressier side. I like skirts and slacks and tend to look feminine and dressy.0
-
T-shirt and capri yoga pants, Renaissance or Stevie Nicks style clothing. Or pajamas. Depends on where i'm working.0
-
I work in a liquor store, but in Virginia they're state run, so it's not as casual as one might think
I typically wear khakis and a nice shirt. We have to wear all black shoes. Mine have the Nike logo in silver on the side, so if the regional manager is coming my store manager tells me so I can make sure my shoes will not be seen because they're not completely black (regional manager dude sent someone home over this small little detail at another store in town...)0
