all of them play a part in being healthy as well as of course to much sodium

If you pick out 5 for your food diary, it defaults for calories,..I then also have protein, carbs, fat, and I have sodium there most of the time but sometimes change it up to see how I'm doing on other things. I don't watch my sodium for any reason than some foods have TONS in it. Cottage cheese has some great protein and is yummy but the sodium is quite high, so I'm careful with that, some fruits also have sodium in them, breads of course. Anything processed..

Not sure if that's why you've asked?

A quick simple response? Focus on all of them you listed!:drinker:

I started a few weeks ago and found I got a little overwhelmed with a whole bunch of numbers, so I got rid of everything on my page but calories. I figure I'll work on that for awhile and when I get that under control I might start looking at how I'm doing on other things. Really, though, a person could lose all the weight they wanted without ever looking at anything but calories. I mean, a person shouldn't eat junk all the time, but I still have sweets and everything I'd normally eat... I just count it... and have been losing a couple pounds a week on average, without even exercising. And that's with my calories set at 1 pound a week.

To lose weight, I have to consider them all including exercise, but if my calories are off, the scale doesn't move.

    Just something to consider.
