Weighing before or after?

On the nutrition facts label of a chicken breast it says its 110 calories so I weighed it raw and it was 197 calories then I grilled it and weighed it again and it went to 134 calories and somehow the protein went from 38 to 26. Which one is correct, before or after? And should you weigh it before or after? Thanx for any help.

So 197 calories is how much i'll be consuming?0

Yeah. It's actually a little more complicated than that, because fat can often melt off during cooking. With lean meats like chicken it's not a big deal, but with something like ground beef it can really affect things. My general suggestion is to just use the pre-cooked values and forget about it.0
