Lift heavy weights. You won't get bulky unless you're one of the few women who have wayyy too much testosterone, or you start taking testosterone.0

Those should all be very helpful tools for your fitness/weight loss goals! Lots of cardio and strength training (using lighter weights—I don’t use more than 2lb. weights—and more reps) should give you the results you are looking for. I like Tracy Anderson’s strength training. She does a lot of reps without even really needing weights (it uses your body’s resistance and it BUUURRNS) and I bought her Mat DVD used on Amazon for about $5 and I love it! Blessings to you on your weight loss journey, I wish you the best0

OP, start lifting heavy weights. You won't get bulky. First of all, being a woman, you don't have enough testosterone for that, Secondly, you can't build muscle on a caloric deficit. So eat less, lift heavy and you'll get to keep most of your muscle mass while losing the fat.0 -
It's hard for women to get bulky simply because of their physiology. Bulking requires testosterone, so most women would need to take a supplement in order to get bigger. That said you can still get heavier while weight training if you're not eating right.
I'd suggest eating close or just below maintenance on your training days. As for specific ways to exercise, it's probably best to let your body tell you what's up. If you start hurting really bad then ease up. If you push too hard you'll get hurt and that will certainly set you back. Heavy weight/ low reps VS low weight/high reps, has opposing schools of thought on their results. No one can really agree on which method works best. It's probably better to figure out for yourself what works and what doesn't.0 -

Lift heavy, I guess you don't have weights? The best thing to get would be some handweights that adjust so you can add weight as you progress. It's a good investment if you don't go to the gym. You won't get bulky, women don't get bulky unless they are trying. I have seen girls at the gym lift heavy and they are not bulky at all but are very toned. That's what happens when women lift. Be sure to feed your body enough food to gain muscle.0

You won't get bulky with your home equipment. Lifting heavy won't make you bulky. You think I look masculine?0 -
I do stronglifts. I love it.0

I have fibromyalgia as well. Cardio makes it worse but lifting weights makes it better. I'm told that it's different for different fibro sufferers though, and that whichever exercise you prefer will help with the pain. I started with pilates. That's not going to build muscle but it will build strength and stretch your muscles, which can be effective for the pain as well.
Do you have any possibility of going to a gym? If not then follow Sara's advice and look up You Are Your Own Gym.0 -

Women don't get bulky Men only get bulky because of the testosterone in their bodies. Women bodybuilders take testosterone to help bulk up, and that's the only reason why they get that big.0 -
I believe what you are saying makes good sense.0

I meant LIVE VEGGIES ....not begging, LOL ( sigh....It is this "auto correct" on my phone)0
