I'm a walker

I walk everywhere for exercise.
Most of the time I have my 18 month old in the stroller and it's great resistance on hills, both up and down. I try to incorporate hills into my walk for that reason. Sometimes mother nature is there to help as well with wind. Nothing like facing into the wind while going UP a hill pushing a stroller to get the heart pumping, LOL
This evening I went walking with a friend, left the baby home with hubby and even though it was cold and rainy and I got soaked to the bone it felt to get out and moving .. before we knew it an hour went by!! It's great getting fresh air in the lungs too.
I'm thinking about getting some Curves sneakers for walking. Does anyone here have experience with them? I do have a bad/arthritic ankle that flares depending on the weather. Footwear probably wouldn't help/remedy that ailment too much.

I also enjoy walking. I do my local 5k walk/runs. Last year the doctor told me I had plantar faciitis in both of my feet. I was have a lot of heel pain. I was wearing the Curves shoes that I ordered from a friend that sold Avon. He told me to buy Brooks. I never even heard of those shoes until that day. They are wonderful. If you walk on a regular basis I would get a pair. Brooks are a little high in price but well worth it. I still have some pain but just buying those shoes my feet feel great during my 5k walk/runs. I hope that helps with your choice. Good Luck0
