Baggy Underwear

Warning: another 30 Day Shred results post! :heart:

I highly recommend this program! While I don’t agree with all the stuff she pushes, Jillian Michaels really knows how to work a body. I think this is a great program for beginners or anyone who does not have access to a gym. If you are afraid to try this program, don’t be! There are modified versions of most of the moves, some of which I had to do.

This was my 3rd attempt at the 30DS and the first time I actually followed through and completed it. Here are my results!

What I lost:
->3.8lbs (Not too shabby since I have less than 15lbs to my goal)
->1.25” off my chest
->1.5” off my waist (at my belly button)
->2” off my abdomen (get off my belly!)
->1” off my (boy) hips
->A whole pants size!! (And yes, I do need new underwear because mine are baggy.):blushing:

What I gained:
->I now know I can stick with a program!
->I can do a real push-up now, several in fact!
->Oh, yeah, don’t forget the muscle definition I now see in my arms that I didn’t before!
->Confidence: I actually walk taller now and feel more comfortable with my body!

What I learned:
Even with my physical limitations due to rheumatoid arthritis I can push my body hard! It is AWESOME to have a pool of sweat of the floor!

    Just walking...lots and lots of walking. I'm a walking fiend; I usually cover anywhere between 5-8 miles a day. :)

    And you should start! You won't be sorry! :)

    Excellent job! This makes me want to try this 30 day shred thing. Everyone's doing it... oooh the peer pressure! I actually have the DVD too.

    I am training for my first 5K first though. One thing at a time for me!

    Anyway, great job on the great results!

    Straight up I noticed the same exact thing a few months ago. I'd been steadily buying new clothes but it never occurred to me to start buying smaller underwear until the situation was way past ridiculous.

    Well, I'd been looking for an excuse to switch to boxers anyways.

    So strange.. but I had the exact same thing today! I am on day 7 of level 3 of 30ds, and today I noticed mine were baggy! :laugh:
  • Excellent results!!! I have that DVD, IT'S HARD!! I won't stick to a month of the same thing, but I might start mixing it in with my other workouts to mix things up some. I like variety. :)

    thanks for posting - I just started 30DS and have hip issues. Glad to hear that you were able to push through and still make the program work for you! Well done for attempt #3 and super well done for completing entire 30 days!
