protein snacks....or not???

Hi all.....what are your favourite snacks to get you thru the day.
I recently decided to make some falafel salmon cakes. they are bite size and sooo yummy. great little protein hit also.
have a try if you are looking for some way to get salmon into your diet and just cant sit with a lump of it on your plate ....like me!
1 can pink salmon
1 cup falafel mix
1 cup chickpea flour
1 egg
1 cup water
seasoning to taste
mix all together...rest for 5 minutes. the mix will absorb the water, you may need to add a little extra if it becomes to dry.
shape into small mini burger size (fit in your palm)
fry off in good quality olive oil
each little bite is about 80 calories so make a great mid morning snack dipped in some skinny tzatziki.
hope you give it a go and enjoy! I am not thinking of little extras to add like grated zucchini, or leek etc. yumm
