I started dieting in february and I started exercising about 3 weeks ago, and since then the scale won't budge! I do atleast a half hour of high intensity cardio with weight training everyday- but i switch up the groups of muscles every other day, and im constantly doing major things around the house up and down stairs, etc. and i try to walk for a half hour every day. Before on a 2000 calorie diet without exercise i was losing 2+ pounds a week. I have lowered my calorie requirements to 1600, and i am not seeing any changes and i thought for sure i would be. Do i need to lower my calorie requirements even more?

Cutting your calories further is probably not thhe answer. When we start a new exercise routine our bodies flood sore muscles with water to help them heal, thus the scale goes up or stays the same. Give it some time to work, take a rest day once a week, and make sure you're actually eating enough to fuel all that activity.0
