Always starving in middle of night and in morning!!!

Help! I am sticking to the calorie limit (usually, lol) and I think I'm eating healthy and balanced enough, I'm exercising every day, but I'm ALWAYS hungry when I wake through the night and in the morning when I wake for the day. Anyone want to check out my diary and help me figure this out? Or is this normal? Oh, btw, I am still breastfeeding my daughter about 2-3 times a day. I log it under 1 minute of cardio as burning 250 calories. I just feel like I'm burning way more calories than I'm taking in. Last week was my first week on here, and I lost 2.5 lb in that week! I won't weigh in again until Monday. My goal is to only lose 1 lb a week. As much as I enjoyed seeing the loss last week, it's just not healthy to lose more than 1 lb a week while breastfeeding.
Any suggestions? Thanks :)

You seem to be eating enough calories, it may be hormone related to your situation, I've heard higher estrogen levels can give you increased hunger , you know like when you get PMS and you want eat more chocolate ect.. I would not worry to much while you are breast feeding , just try to keep your sugar /sodium levels lower..

I would up my calories and see what happens, and eat a snack with protein and fat before bed. I remember those days, I was starving and I ate whatever I wanted but still kept losing:) problem was I didn't reduce my intake when I began nursing less ::)

    Eat for your precious one:)

Thanks, guys :) I will try eating more fat and/or protein later in the day and possibly eat a little more overall.
