No more waiting - I'm starting TODAY!

Ready... set... go! I've got to take control and start taking care of myself and my body.

Weighed myself today and I'm the heaviest I've ever been so NO MORE! I can't let it take over (and I can't afford the new wardrobe that goes with it)!

So here I am, ready to take the steps necessary to make change.

I've said that a million times before (and stuck with it for a month or two then fallen off the deep end) but this time I'm hoping MFP and all you out there will be the difference in success.

We're all in it together - no matter where or how you live. All of us working towards the same goal of LIFE free of something - more fulfilled and healthier.

Wish me luck! (and a lot of hard work because I know THAT is what will pull me though!)

Good luck and I hear ya! I am sick of struggling but I HAVE LET THAT HAPPEN!! I try to say it's the kids, or the chores or this or that but it's how I REACT to all of that, that has kept me where i am! I am done also!

WE CAN DO THIS!! We have to put US 1st (well if there are kids involved, once their basic needs are cared for, we come next in line)!!

Welcome aboard guys.. We are all here for a reason.. the same reason, if they vary a bit. We all need help and let me say this, all the people are great for advice or just to cheer you on... Use that support system if you need help because I will tell you it does help to have so many people understand where you are coming from. We are responsible for our own bodies, not our kids, or husbands, or anyone else for that matter.. WE ARE.. So welcome again and feel free to ask for help! I know I am always here to help!

I am living as healthy as I can every day and telling myself the following:
"I create myself with the choices I make each day"
No matter what happened yesterday the beauty is that every morning you can "reset" and start again. Don't think of the future, just take one day at a time and try to make the right choices today only. It is still a struggle for me on weekends sometimes but I have that saying posted on my closet door (so I see it first thing in the morning), on my fridge, and on my monitor at work . . . all to remind me not to be too hard on myself and to just take one day at a time.
Good luck! Feel free to add me as a friend if you are looking for additional support!
