Just wondering for nine holes around 3 miles pushing clubs or pulling how many calories and is it exercise
Depends on your weight and the duration mainly, including how you'd moved through the course (on foot or via the cart) plus other considerations ~ how you'd carried your clubs.
It's quite similar to figuring out how many calories are expanded via say ~ walking. Your weight + Duration from start to finish/Distance covered + Walking course's gradient of difficulty ONLY that you'll need to consider additional weight and in your case - your clubs.
* My point is that the numbers are determined by your weight + your gender + duration of activity@3 miles + activity/skill level + age + average heart rate
