Lean Ground beef cooked vs uncooked weight...

Does anyone know if the calories listed for lean ground beef are for cooked or uncooked weight? I just made burgers from 93% lean beef and as I patted them out I weighed them each to be 4oz a piece because I found that its 170 calories for a 4oz patty. Well, after they were cooked, they weighed less than 3oz a piece. I figured that may be the case sense burgers shrink on the grill. I just assumed that it meant for uncooked weight so the after cooked weight is just a "deal with it" kind of thing! lol. I'm only going to have one of course but man a 2.8oz burger is quite small! lol.

most of the time I think it is uncooked, since cooking changes values..including weight0
