Too many years....

I have never been over weight by much, maybe 3 stone but it seems that for the past 25 years I've watched what I eat and have exercised. I still have about 7 lbs to go until my goal but I seem to put on a couple of lbs and then lose them again over and over again.

The problem at the moment is that I am thinking SOD IT, yes I really want to get to my goal and get fitter but my whole life seems to be around planning my meals and my exercise and sometimes I just want to veg out in front of the tv, instead of finishing work, walking the dogs, rushing off to the gym, running etc and then having to do the housework before bed. Wouldn't it be lovely just to finish work and do nothing!!!

I know I won't let this happen, within a fortnight I would be heavier and feel sluggish but at times I want to be one of the few that haven't got to worry.

so many people make it LOOK easy when in reality it isn't, you totally aren't alone. I wanna lose those last 10lbs...

Just try your best to eat REALLY clean and healthy and avoid processed things. Have you looked at going gluten free? If you are having a slight allergic reaction to gluten (like I do, but didn't know about) it could be causing bloating and holding you back. Everyone has a different reason that keeps them from getting to their goal - I have read about people who had to cut out all sugar, others gluten, some the strangest things. Just experiment :)

I'm finding my last 10-15lbs really hard to shift. I find that mixing up my diet/exercise routine help keep me motivated. Maybe you could have a look for some New recipes or try something new at the gym?

    a couple of quotes

"If you did have a million-dollar racehorse, would you let him stay up half the night drinking coffee and booze, smoking cigarettes and eating junk food?" "Would you treat your 10-dollar dog or your 5-dollar cat that way? What about your billion-dollar body?"

Everyday you have the choice to get closer to your goals or farther away from them. You have the choice. It's up to you and only you.

NOTE TO SELF: When I eat like crap, I feel like crap

"I workout, because I can. When I get tired, or I am short on time, or I want to quit...I think about how lucky I am to be healthy enough to workout daily. Be grateful for your health and your ability to become STRONGER. Don't ever take it for granted!"

    hope they help
