Under the weather - to train or not to train?

If you're slightly under the weather (as opposed to severely ill and bed ridden) does training help you get better quicker? Or are a few days off in order?

I must admit, I'm undecided. Sometimes training makes me feel better, sometimes worse.

What do you think?

I've heard that if you're not feeling well from the neck up (a cold, some sniffles, dry cough), you'e good to go.
But from the neck down (lungs, upset stomach, achey muscles), you should take a couple days off to get better.

I've heard the same thing as CMay16 and it's the rule I go by.
