Exercise and Fiber

Why does exercise increase my fiber requirements?
In general, everyone needs a minimum of 25 gms fiber, regardless of weight. At 1200 calories, fiber was only 14 gms, which is too low.
This calculation should be independent of weight, calories, and exercise!

I was able to customize my fiber settings to 25, but adding exercise added more, some total 40+/day, which is too much.
