Is 25 pounds weighloss possible in 2 months?

So I'm going to my first concert with a group of friends in exactly 2 months from today. I'm obese at the moment and have a very sedentary life style and I eat chocolate all the time, yet I haven't gained weight in almost a year. I'm only a teenager and from this week on I'm going to run/walk 3 times a week for an hour each (I can only run for about 8 minutes so I usually run 8 min and walk for 2 and then run another 8 minutes and repeat it for an hour) and I'll jog everyday before school (maybe 10- 15 minutes) . Oh and by the way I'm a vegetarian which is probably why I eat so much sugar ( I'm hungry all the time but I'm too lazy to cook). But from now foward I'll take the extra time and effort to eat heatlhy

So is it possible to lose 25 pounds in 2 months doing this? More important : does this seem like something I will be able to keep up to?(as a beginner)

A life style change is really what I'm looking after and I'm so excited to become my new heatlhy self.

SOrry if this post is a tad bit weird, I just created an account and I'm not really sure how everything works

Thanks in advance and keep on with your efforts, we're making the world healthier all together!
(Ok, I'm a bit annoying...)

I don't think it's very healthy to aim so high right out of the gate. I would start by today journaling all of your foods and exercise and take your measurements. Then just plan each day to lovingly feed your body things that are good for it and get good exercise.

I'm a broken record, I know, but we always say, you didn't put it on in a month and you can't take it off that way. At least it won't stay off.

Be who you are. Go to the concert as a teen who is taking back her life with exercise and food journaling. Don't starve yourself. Identify problems in your eating and try to make some changes. I quit soda and sweet tea. I could not cut back on chocolate, so I gave it up. I don't do fast food anymore.

    Good luck!

Well, they do it on The Biggest Loser but I think in reality for health purposes goal is supposed to be 1-1.5 pounds/ wk; 2 pounds if really obese but that is only for a start. Sometimes if you are really obese you will lose the initial 10-15 pounds really fast but that is usually a lot of water weight and not fat. You ultimate goal is to develop healthy eating and exercise habits that you can live with.
