I put a whole bunch of fruit in a dehydrator and they turned out sooo delicious! all I did was just slice up mangos, bananas, apples, kiwis & pears .. NOTHING added to them :)

Im just wondering, if some fruit is less sweet after it comes out of the dehydrator, does that mean it has less calories? like somehow the calories are eliminated because of the dehydration process? therefore, it is safe to eat more? or, it's still the same ?!
Because some apple slices hardly tasted like apples, they were just chewy things..lollol

Also, what are some other good ideas that I could do with the dehydrator (if anyone else used one before) ?

As far as I'm aware you only lose water not calories so 100g fresh apple has the same amount of calories as however many grams it weighs after it's dehydrated.
