When you do not meet your recommended daily calorie allowance what exactly happens to your body that will cause you to gain weight?

How and why does your body store fat on a calorie deficit?
How long should it take to see or feel results when you find the right amount that works for you?

    it is my understanding that when you eat too little, your body perceives it is being starved and the metabolism will slow down to save energy, thus not losing, gain??? Regarding fat storage - not sure, but again may have something to do with body not getting adequate nutrients. Hoping others may have some more scientific data re this.:smile:
