Eating at TDEE starting tomorrow! Eek!

I have decided I am happy where I am weight-wise now so tomorrow is the start of me eating at TDEE! I plan to add 100 calories each week til I get there then give it at least a month before making adjustments if need be. Is anyone else at maintenance and how did it go for you when you started...Colleen x

  • I'm going to do the same as soon as I hit my goal weight! I already added about 200 this week, mainly because I felt like I wasn't properly fueling my body. I'll see what happens when I weigh in this week, but I'm aiming on adding about 100 a week as well until I reach TDEE. I've heard this is the best way to work up to maintenance, and that you may gain at first, but it should even out in the end. Best of luck!!

    Ow well that's a great great idea, because this will help you gage where you want to stay and hopefully you wont gain weight doing it this way..
    I gained 4# increasing my cals 700 a day..trust me for a few weeks I was full all the time, had a hard time keeping up and then noticed that huge weight gain..
    everyone is diff, but I never thought of doing it at 100 at a time, silly me. hahaha
