What are the best snacks for MFP members?

I've made some big mistakes in the last 3 days and my food diary is looking pretty bad. I need some ideas for healthy snacks as I can't seem to stop the snacking. Any suggestions would be gratefully received. Thanks! :)

    My favourite snacks include...

Fruit (pears, apples and bananas are my favourites as they travel well) - apples are really good with a spoonful of peanut butter too
Fat free greek yogurt with frozen fruit, mashed together so it's like ice cream
Dried fruit (natural/unsulphured apricots, raisins and pitted dates are the best)
    Cherry tomatoes
    Pepper with low calorie dressing
    Malt loaf
    Almonds

My food diary blog - ameliasfooddiary.wordpress.com - might also give you some inspiration :)

Yum I agree with all of those! Also:

Vegetables (peppers, cucumbers, carrots) with houmous
Rice cakes - especially snack a jacks
If you are craving chocolate, I find a couple of squares of dark chocolate satisfy the craving and I end up eating a lot less than milk chocolate that way
Cereal bars (but careful - some have loads of nuts and added sugar in)

    Hope that helps!

I eat lots of lightly salted or unsalted almonds, almond nut thins, and string cheese! Lots of string cheese... as I am not a big milk drinker and need to get my calcium any way that I can

Carrots with snack-sized hummus; apple with a babybel cheese round; greek yogurt with fruit.. you get the idea: a veggie or fruit with a protein. When you pair it with a protein, it keeps you feeling fuller longer. Drink loads of water too! Good luck!

I find babybell lights are amazing, especially with an apple. I also enjoy ryvita with cottage cheese when I am hungry but don't have many calories left.

Almonds, veggies, string cheese, fruit. I've been making fruit smoothies as my late night snack.

Self control is what's most important, though, since you can always eat 3 cups of almonds or 6 string cheese sticks.

    Cheese string
    Jerky.
    Almonds,
    Fage with berries
Whole grain rice cake with phalefphia cream cheese and smoked ham

    Probably my. Favourites!

If your feeling deprived or really hungry it's possible you may need to eat slightly more!
