How to eyeball calories and fat grams in sushi?

I'm really, really, really, really craving sushi. My mouth is watering, and I really want some. lol! :) Truthfully, I'm a "fake". I like the avocado sushi and shrimp sushi and a bit of salmon sushi. I've looked it up and for 6 pieces of avocado sushi (my fav!) it's supposed to be 160 calories and 6 grams of fat. Does that sound right?

yes that sounds right those kinds are very low in calories. Its the spicy tuna and california rolls (ones with mayo/sauce) that are higher value.

Maybe, depends on how big the roll is, but it seems a little on the low side. It's the sushi with the cream cheese, sauces, and fried rolls that gets us in trouble with calories. Look up the cal is for a whole avocado ( I think it might be 180) and go from there.

I DON'T THINK IS BAD, IN FACT I LOVE TO EAT SUSHI, CALIFORNIA ROLL AND I EAT ONCE A WEEK. JUST WATCH YOUR INTAKE AND BALANCE YOUR MEALS.

160 for 6 pieces of avocado sushi sounds low... especially considering that you've got lots of cals from the avocado and the rice, seems to me like it would be higher. That depends on how much avocado it has and how much rice, of course--if you're talking mini rolls, then maybe that's reasonable. I always try and eyeball amounts of stuff in what I eat and plug it into the food log as each individual food item.
