I am wondering how much calories are you burning on:
1. days you just stay at home
2. days you go to work
3. days you exercise
4. days you exercise hard
I am at:
1. 2600 cal
2. 2800-3000 cal
3. 3200-3600 cal
4. 4000+
I am wondering where I am at with the general population. Cheers!:drinker:

I am on bodymedia, and was just wondering the same thing you just asked. I work from home mostly, with some travel thrown in. I am trying really hard to up my burn.....mind you I am missing 1/2 my thyroid because of surgery, and I can't believe the difference since that happened. I am 49 female, my stats are the following:
This past week on average was 2275 burned, and this included one hour moderate activity (weight lifting 30 min and treadmill one hour 3 times a week)
My steps were only about 7000.....
I am frustrated because I am not loosing very quickly, and I am doing the Simple Diet which is about 1200 calories. How old are you? Your calories are amazing....I feel like I am working really hard just to get my numbers above!0 -
Maybe its because of your thyroid?
I am 38 yo, My number of steps is about 12000 per day, I walk a lot instead of driving, and I try to walk as fast as I can. :-) moderate activity is 60 min and vigorous activity 20 min.
If your average burn is 2275 and you eat 1200 you should lose about 2 lbs per week. Just increase your walking and see your burn go up. :-)0 -
I don't use it anymore...however I will answer anyway.

I wonder why I am burning so high... I average 60 min of moderate activity on regular days and 90 mins vigorous + 30-60 min moderate on 4000 calorie days.0 -

I'm only ~110 pounds. That could make a huge difference if you're quite a bit bigger than me.0 -

You probably aren't losing as you are eating too few calories and are below your bmr0
