Nature Trails- Hiking or Walking

My family and I went on a 2 hour (2 mile) walk on the nature trails in our town. A small part was rough terrain but the rest was concrete. Do I count this as walking or cross country hiking?

    Maybe do it as 1 hr walking 1 hr cx hiking so it meets in the middle :)
