OH MY GOD I need a snack...

I am trying to stay low on my sugar intake and all my pantry has seems to be sugar! I have a lot of fresh fruit but I am already over by 15g on my sugar for today...Does anyone have snack ideas that are 0 sugar (or at least really low)?! Im starving, and have 750 cal left for today!

first off, fruit is good! you need to be watching added sugars, like HFCS and table sugar. i'd honestly contine eating fruit as a snack! Or instead you can do baby carrots, celery, cucumber slices, cherry tomatoes, and bell pepper strips with hummus/greek yogurt/plain. You can choose
    carbs- pretzels, popcorn
fats-- almonds, peanut butter, peanuts, seeds
protein - cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt (greek), soy beans/nuts

    popcorn
    hummus and veggies for dipping
plain yogurt w/ cocoa powder (or Walden Farm's 0 calorie, 0 carb, and 0 sugar chocolate sauce...it's low sodium too)
    boiled eggs
    cucumbers, cayenne, salt, and vinegar
    toast and peanut butter
    bowl of veggie soup
soft taco (veggies, lean protein, salsa)
apples and crunchy peanut butter (taste like snickers)

Eating a lot of fruit keeps my junk food cravings down. The sugar limit here is sooo low.

I don't think you need to worry about natural sugars unless you are diabetic. I just had an apple with peanut butter! YUM

Unless you have a medical reason to track sugar, don't worry about it. Avoid refined carbohydrates and watch total carbohydrates instead.

you can go in manually and remove the sugar and replace it with fiber. I did..because i eat fruit and i dont think its bad..I try not to eat processed or refined sugar.

Peanut butter is good! and all the other suggestions..i love to spread coconut oil on a kamut cake and then a little sunbutter on top..mmmmm good my favorite snack!!:flowerforyou: super healthy..about 110 cals

Edamame is full of protein and delicious with a little bit of low sodium soy sauce - you can find it in the frozen section of most stores.

I do only Healthy Life bread (35 calories a slice) and if I had only 750 calories and two mail meals left to go (lunch and supper), I'd probably avoid peanut butter. It's great at maintenance, but at weight loss, it had to be a mini-meal, not a snack, and I had to have plenty cals left for the day.

Hummus with red pepper is a fav of mine. I can do it on Xtreme Healthy soft shells or in celery and be filled, or an apple.

If I had 750 calories left and two meals to go, I'd work out to earn more calories for in between meals/snacks. I planned on eating every 3 hours to avoid food raids.
