Just for the record, I do have an appointment scheduled with my family Dr on Friday to clarify. It's the earliest I could get an appointment. But I figured I'd ask here just in case...

I recently changed from taking the standard Caltrate + Vitamin D supplement to taking the Caltrate Plus supplement. Fundamentally, the only difference I can see is the addition of "magnesium, zinc, copper and manganese". I am on doctors orders to take Caltrate for medical reasons, not dietary reasons, and the pharmacist suggested the one with the extra minerals wouldn't do me any harm.

However after 2 weeks of taking the Caltrate Plus, I find myself needing to pee - like constantly. To the point where I'm not sleeping at night because I'm up having to go pee every hour. And I seem to be sweating a lot more than usual - without due cause. As in I'll be lying in bed and sweating for no good reason. I am 99% certain the peeing and sweating are related to the Caltrate Plus usage as nothing else in my diet or exercise regime has changed. The thing is, I never had a reaction to the Caltrate + Vitamin D, which would mean it's related to the addition of the extra minerals? And I can't find anything on Google to suggest that they would cause such a reaction. I've seen reports of people needing to pee more on the regular Caltrate because of the increased calcium intake, but that's clearly not the case here since I've been taking the regular Caltrate tablets for years without issue.

Thoughts? Like I said, I'm expecting the "you need to talk to a medical professional" comments, and I am scheduled to do that. Just thought someone here may have come across something similar? And if so, how you resolved it?
