Vitamins

Every morning I take a one a day vitamin. I recently read the lable and saw that it already gave me all the vitamins I need for the day. But there;s obviously going to be vitamin C in the other foods I eat. I was just wondering is it bad to have to much of vitamin C? Because I have been going over my goal by a lot, same with my other vitamin goals. Is it bad to get too much of any vitamins? I'm just curious, since they automatically give you a goal for things, and 100 percent is all of my vitamin goals. Will this make me gain weight? or should I not even worry about it?
