DVDs: Alternatives to Shred/Ripped in 30?

Hi, I have quite a few fitness DVDs but only use my 30-DAY SHRED and RIPPED IN 30 ones regularly as they give me a short, intense workout. However I'm getting a bit bored with them.
Please recommend any DVDs of a similar length that will work me as hard (or harder!).
Thanks!

Try the website www.fitnessblender.com they have hundreds of videos of varying lengths with different exercises, it's a fantastic website to use if you can't get to a gym!0

Any of the Beachbody advanced series you might like.

They do work if you follow a calorie deficit, high protein diet (which all recommend generally).0 -
I'm kind of wondering this same thing.0

This. Plus they have a 8 week programme you can sign up for for a small fee
Zuzkalight is also good and on YT, plus she has a dvd out0 -
Thanks all, they look like good options. I'd rather use a DVD than online videos so if anyone has any further suggestions I'll be very grateful - thanks again.0

I really like JM's 'Extreme Shed & Shred'. Slightly longer workouts but the same kind of intensity and style (intervals).0

That sounds good although I do like the short workouts ...0

What about jillian michaels body revolution a 12 week programme but all the workouts are about 30 minutes and get progressively harder throughout the 12 weeks. I am loving it and you don,t get bored because the programme changes every 2 weeks. It is quite expensive but well worth it i am on week 6 and can see positive changes in my body. I am not following the diet as she only recommends 1200 calories and i am also training for a half marathon so need more calories than that.0

http://www.blogilates.com/
She does short 10-20 minute long videos and you can combine them into your own workout.
She also does a workout calendar for members of her website (it's free), 30 days at a time using different videos of hers.0 -
Bump for later x0

Thanks Joy! Unfortunately Body Revolution doesn't seem to be available in the UK at the moment but I'll look out for it.
Thanks also khall86790 - had a look at Blogilates, looks like a good workout but the presentation style is not my cup of tea I'm afraid! I also need a DVD I can order from the UK.
Hoping there may be another suggestion or two .......0 -

I agree with Body revolution. I really like it.
Also what about Walk away the pounds with leslie sansone? Not intervals, its mainly walking/ jogging but she has different videos that throws some knee lifts and kicks and some ab stuff in i think.
Not sure if you can get Beachbody workouts but maybe try 10 minute trainer? I've been told its great.0 -

Hi Franch71 -
I totally get how you're feeling, I use either JM's ripped in 30 or Killer buns and thighs dvd when i don't get to the gym but it can get monotonous - I have found a few alternatives that I are great - theyre all from the 10minute solutions range. these dvds are relatively affordable (i think i picked up mine for £5 each in UK.) and there is absolutely loads of tyoes of work outs like toning, pilates, fat burning, dance themed and boot camps!
they generally have 5 10 minute workouts that you can do in whatever order you want or to add on to another workout. the ones I have are the belly, butt and thigh blaster (which has an exercise band with it) and cardio hip hop blaster.
I think theyre a great alternative and the belly butt and thigh blaster is my fav and i do revert back to it when I get bored with JM's dvds0 -
Have you tried any of the Davina McCall ones, she does a 20 or 30 minute work out series which is quite good if you can get over the annoying talking.0

Hi out of curiosity what do you put these under for exercise and calories burnt, and do you include warm ups as part of the minutes exercised? Any help gratefully received I mean the shed and shred or ripped in 30 etc, cheers0

Jackie Warner has some really good DVD's. I hurt everywhere the next day. They aren't 30 day programs but have several different workouts on one DVD - some short some about 40 minutes.0

I am in the uk and got body revolution from amazon. It was £104 but worth every penny.0

Thanks for all the additional replies. McWooey, I have a few 10 minute solution DVDs that I haven't used for ages. I was under the impression that they were a bit easier than Jillian Michaels. Should I give them another go?0

baileysmom4 they look great! Unfortunately only available in US format DVDs at present - let's hope they do UK/Europe format soon!0

hey Franch - i defo agree with JM in that the more effort you put in the harder they are, I dont think anything (apart from Insanity) is as hard as JM's DVD;'s but the 10min solutions are tough enough, if you find them a bit too easy, then add some ankle or wrist weights or up your own hand weight! but defintely everything is good to do! I do find the 10min solutions dvds petty challenging too!!0
