30 Day Shred!

Hi guys!
I started the 30DS today on level 1 and I didn't think it got my heart rate up enough (which I was surprised by, as I am incredibly unfit). The thing that bothered me though was that my ankles/feet were ACHING! Will this pain ease off in time? Or will it continue to hurt until I've lost a significant amount of weight? It's frustrating, as I think I could've worked a lot harder had my ankles/feet been up to the job!!
And how heavy are the weights you use? I was using 3.5kg ones and I struggled as there is a lot of constant strength training. I don't want to be using weights that are too light, but at the moment the 3.5kgs are a bit too much for a weakling like me. I'm not sure what weight to go for though.
Also, how have you found the 30DS? What kind of results have you had? Do you do more than the 20 minutes a day?
