My bike says I burned 132 calories while my new polar ft4 said 227 calories burned. The heart rate on both devices read the same. Is this normal for anyone who owns the polar ft4?

Check your Polar settings ....if they look good I would go with that.
How does your bike read your heart rate? Your Polar's chest strap is reading your heart rate constantly. Your Polar should have your resting heart rate, height, weight, age, gender ..... I'm guessing your bike does not have that info.0
