Anyone Kite surf?

I am seriously thinking of taking it up as the beach is only a 5 minute walk from where I live so easy to do. I see people out there kite surfing all the time and it looks like great fun

Anyone do it and is it easy to learn etc?

Not much help here. I just wanted to say, last week I was at the beach and saw some people doing what I thought was Parasailing...lol But now that you mentioned it, it must of been Kite sailing. they were holding a Huge Kite-looking thing and they were on a surf board. It looked like the most Fantastic Fun... I wish I could have tried it :laugh: It was a really windy day and they were really going fast :bigsmile:

If I had the extra money I would definately buy one. I live about 20 minutes from the beach :bigsmile:

Living in Kansas the closest I get to surfing is either on the web or on tops of cars (but that was only in my youth).

Actually, I am just getting into kite surfing, and its a blast. Its pretty expensive though, and has a very steep learning curve.
