Your net cals are the calories consumed MINUS calories burned through exercise. You should be NETTING the calorie goal MFP gives you.
Example:
MFP goal = 1500 cals.
You eat 1500 cals.
You burn 500 cals through exercise.
Your net is currently 1000 cals.
You need to eat 500 more cals so that your net is 1500 cals.
ETA: Just to clairfy, MFP already puts you in a deficit to lose weight when it gives you your cal goal. So when you exercise, you further increase that deficit so MFP's system has you eat those exercise cals back.0 -
