The idea behind this challenge is to get people on their bikes and start peddaling. Start the challenge by setting your own goal on how far you plan to pedal. Everyone's goal will be different.

Whether your goal for the month is 50 miles or 500 miles do your best and get out and pedal. Road bike, mountain bike, comfort bike, recumbent bike, tricycle or unicycle. It doesn't matter, any type of bike.

    I've been waiting to see a post like this! It's finally getting warm enough to ride!

    I'm keeping it low...my goal is 40 miles on my actual bicycle (not my stationary bike).

    Im in.This is busy part of life with kids and now fishing .Most my miles are done on stationary bike at gym.But this will help me get outside with new bike.I will commit to 60 miles in May!!

    I'm already in for the 50 mile May running challenge.

    I'll get in for this one, too, but I'm going to set it low. And it's all being done on a stationary bike, but I keep my heart rate at above 140 the entire time I'm on the bike, so I think that makes up for it!

    I'll go 50 miles, same as jogging. I think I'll hit that a lot sooner, but I like to set reachable goals instead of unattainable. Makes it that much sweeter to set another goal.

    I just bought a road bike on Craigslist for 300.00. It's getting a tune-up and the bike shop is building some wheels for me. The bike should be ready to go in about a week and a half. I'm planning a round-trip ride on the Schuyllkill River Trail from Valley Forge National Park to downtown Philadelphia. I believe the total distance will be about 30-40 miles. I like your challenge!!
