Foods that make you bloat or reduce bloat?

What are some foods that cause you to bloat? Or, better yet, what are some foods that are good for umm.. the opposite of water retention?
I've got my final wedding dress fitting on Thursday, and I want to make sure I don't eat anything that causes me to get bloated. Before people come in here and start cyber-yelling at me for wanting to lose weight fast, I've been losing weight the healthy way for the past 4 months. I just don't want to eat anything that will make me retain water... Thanks!

You will bloat less if you regularly get enough fluids. I prefer water for this.
High sodium foods can cause bloat, but it will go away when you get enough fluids to flush out the excess salt.
I don't have anything else to offer, as I seem to just get the 'average' amount of bloating.0 -
Sodium makes you retain water artificial sweeteners make you bloat with gas
Caffeine is a diuretic and helps you release water.
Stay hydrated and your body will release sodium decreasing the amount of water retention you have to deal with.0 -

don't eat too many carbs, and stay away from fizzy drinks! Try and eat light, like a salad and snack on some berries and if i was you i wouldn't drink too much water on the actual day as that can sometimes bloat you a bit! epsom salts in the bath are meant to be good for debloating as they're meant to help release salt and toxins or something, maybe worth a try the night before! good luck!0

Parsley serves as a valuable Bloating medication by reducing bloating caused by water retention. In addition, it improves appetite and promotes digestion. You can prepare parsley tea by putting a tablespoon of fresh parsley leaves in a cup of boiling water and letting it steep for 10-15 minutes.
I don't really like parsley tea... but will put tons in my food and it will have the same effect.0 -
1tbsp of apple cider vinegar is what I do to reduce water retension. I usually take it in the morning.0

I get really bloated if I eat foods that are high in fiber, like fruits and vegetables and beans. This is one situation where highly processed foods are actually better because they'll be easier to digest and not cause bloating. I would also avoid dairy and sodium.0
