"Hi"!
I'm new here - been a dormant member for a long time but now I'm going to give it a go for calorie tracking.
I'm not trying to lose weight as such - I don't even own a set of scales and think people often take too much stock in that, but I'm around the 52-53kg mark (at 157cm). I hold my weight around my hips and belly and would like to burn this off - if possible, without looking too gaunt in the chest and face which is a problem I've had before, but that was when I wasn't looking after myself diet-wise (bad breakup, other health issues yada yada so pretty much stopped eating).
I do CXWORX (a Les Mills 30-minute core program) and BodyCombat four times a week (Tuesday - Friday) and try to do the Les Mills 60-day Combat program at home at least a couple of times a week - or a 30-minute blast on my elliptical.
So I reckon my exercise program is pretty reasonable at the moment. So, I am really going to focus on what I'm putting in. I've struggled in the past with using the calorie tracker on here because it takes so long to enter everything when you've cooked stuff from scratch, but my interest is increasing and I'm wondering if I am conning myself about how much I actually eat.
I guess what I'm saying is that this post is really a way to give myself a kick up the bum and get me to start properly tracking.
I have a dressy event to go to in about five weeks time, plus I'm getting married in September and as much as this is more about being happy in my body forever than it is one or two specific days, they will hopefully act as good focus!
Looking forward to being a member of the community and hearing any advice that people may have.
Cheers!
