Psyching myself up to eat more (weigh less)!

Hi All,
My current MFP setting is 1200, but I always eat back the calories that MFP says I've burned (probably overestimated, from what I've read). This puts me at 1500-1800 most days, and over 2000 on the weekend. Did sliding scale TDEE- amt appropriate to lose weight (provided last week on a thread, sorry I don't know how to quote, but it it was really helpful), and it said that with moderately active (desk job, but training for half marathon and crosstraining) I should be at about 1900 calories. Some days this would be not far off from what I'm already eating, and some days it would be a significant increase.

My question is: When I start eating more, what's the average lag time until the scale starts moving?

I've had success thus far, and am not sure if I'm hitting a "plateau", or if I'm eating too much on weekends ( I'm pretty sure it's still under or at TDEE, but I seem to gain weight every weekend). I know people are always asking about this, but it sounds like a lot of people have struggled with making the switch, so any advice?

I think it depends how much you are eating over 2000 on the weekends. For example - If you are eating 1500 today but then on Saturday you eat 2300, those 2 days average to 1900/day. I don't know that I would increase what you are eating during the week until you know how much you are overeatting on the weekend.
