Hey everyone. Just looking for more friends to add. You dont have to be on the same page as me, So long as your happy positive and chatty like me . Im 26 years old and currently 349 pounds. At my heaviest I was 365. I lost a total of 51 pounds then stress from my previous work(Litterally got to the point that we were beind paid to be verbally abused) caused me to gain almost all of it back. I decided enough was enough and after looking we finally found our farm and I found a beautifull new work from home job. Closest grocery store is 2 km away so no sneaking next door to the store to get a bag of chips which helps with when Im detoxing .
Im trying to eat non processed food almost at 100%. No margarine or other processed fats. Only whole healthy fats like olive oil, coconut oil mainly and yes in moderation(I dont have any right now lol But If its available I will use a bit for baking or pan cooking) I plan on even using butter(Home made from the goats once I get them), lard(Homemade from my own pigs once I get them from your own renders not that crap that you buy in the store that is hydrogenated) and tallow(Same as lard, though we buy it from a free range organic farmer locally) though I dont use much of it. Im a firm believer that whole natural fats in small portions are healthy for you and so far Its been working.
I have ducks and chickens that Im raising now for eggs and for meat(Though Im sure Ill have trouble with the meat part as they are just so personable). And we are growing a large garden. Our goal is to try to be as self sufficient as possible which helps us save money in some areas and in others eat healthy wholesome foods that are organic and we know where they came from.
Anyway that turned into a ramble . If you want to add me feel free. Im friendly chatty and love meeting new people . Oh and I married a chef and my mother is one so I LOVE swapping recipes!
